I type this post every year, but every year it rings true: your New Year’s resolutions are trash. Basura caliente.
I’m not going to rehash what I literally wrote just a year ago, but I will emphasize why everyone should do quarterly goals instead a year-long resolution.
Quarterly goals makes you work smarter, not harder. You have 90 days to get your act together and not a day more. And honestly, do you really need a whole year to do something that could take 90 days or less?
But let’s be realistic – if your goal is to say lose 50 lbs in a year, set a goal to lose 5 lbs a month. If you want to adapt a plant-eating lifestyle (vegetarian), make a goal to research a recipe once a week and go meatless that day.
If you want to save up for a new computer, put yourself on a budget. Figure out what type of computer you want, how much it’ll cost, and and then set a quarterly goal for how much you want to save for it .
Achieving a goal is incredibly easy if you play your cards right. This is working smarter, not harder.
What are your goals for this quarter?
